Known as the Art of Eight Limbs, in NJMA’s Muay Thai Kick Boxing classes we will teach you how to use your Hands, Feet, Knees and Elbows to strike and disable an attacker. Muay Thai is the most effective and powerful striking art that exists today.
95% of all Street fights and Self Defense situations wind up ion the ground according to FBI crime statistics. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is the only system that effectively addresses these situations. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is designed to allow a smaller weaker opponent be able to defend themselves against a bigger, faster and stronger attacker.
Mixed Martial Arts is a combat sport made famous by the UFC aka the Ultimate Fighting Championship. NJMA’s MMA training allows for the fan to train like his favorite fighter without having to spar or risk injury. Dear Future Student,
At New Jersey Martial Arts we strive to offer the finest in Martial Arts. We want our students to be well rounded but also effective. That is why we exclusively teach Muay Thai Kickboxing to our students that want to learn striking. Muay Thai will not only help you develop that fighting spirit that you see in the martial arts, but it will get you in amazing shape and give you the ability to defend yourself if the need arises. Ask any professional fighter or experienced REAL Martial Artist what striking art you should study? Also ask them will it help you get in shape and defend yourself? All of them will say go study Muay Thai.
When you come for your first class you will be pleasantly surprised at how much fun and how easy it is to get started learning Muay Thai. You'll learn proper stance, hand placment, footwork proper punching, kicking kneeing and elbowing.
I look forward to seeing you in class and starting you on the path to learning Martial Arts,
